Delupo Apart Hotel supports the XX Colonial Festival in Siderópolis - Notícias

Criciúma and region are already waiting anxiously for the XX Colonial Festival in Siderópolis, which occurs on days 15, 16, 17 and 18 of July.

The event, which started small in the early 90s, has turned to big festival about six years ago, with large concerts, drawing people from throughout the state. This year the national attractions are Ivete Sangalo, Gian and Giovani, Os Serranos and the singer Marilia Dutra. "We're working to make the biggest and best party of all time here in Siderópolis. Besides the musical attractions, we have a well diversified program in order to please everybody, "says the president of OCC, Daniel Gamba.

One of the peculiarities of the Colonial Festival in Siderópolis is the singing that happen on the first day, where the singers Bellunese meets with other people and go through the streets singing Italian songs, with their costumes, inviting residents to join the choir. According to the singing coordinator, Mrs. Maria Rossa, the group starts with about 40 people and winds up with 500. "The local businesses also participate by offering the singers typical food, polenta colonial cheese and the colonial wine of course, all of the purest Italian tradition," he says.

In addition to the city center, the singing also passes through the neighborhoods of Rio Fiorita and São Jorge.

In this twentieth edition, Delupo Apart Hotel has joined the organization to be the official hotel of the Colonial Festival.
